Sales of the GMC Terrain rose and fell over the years. In 2013 the company sold about 99,500 vehicles. The number climbed to over 112,000 in 2015. Later sales stayed steady but not as high.

By 2024 the yearly count was around 82,100 units. In 2025 it reached nearly 75,000. These numbers show how many families chose the Terrain each year for its handy size and helpful features.
